Mommies In Need is a first of its kind nonprofit organization that supports families by providing safe, loving childcare from expert staff so family members can get the medical care they need.
For many families, lack of childcare becomes a hindrance to accessing crucial medical appointments and navigating illnesses can be fraught and difficult. But because of you, parents can have peace of mind knowing their children are taken care of at Annie’s Place, our no-cost childcare center located at Parkland Hospital. Your support ensures that we step closer every day to making our vision possible: a world in which childcare is no longer a barrier to healthcare.
Since its opening in 2020, Annie’s Place has served over 550 children and their families. You have made it possible to provide over 20,000 hours of service for families in DFW and have enabled guardians and parents to attend over 3,500 medical appointments.
